1. General Refund Policy

Non-Refundable Services

The following are generally not eligible for refunds:

  • Votes: Once a vote is successfully cast and recorded, it cannot be refunded
  • Platform Fees: Service fees are non-refundable
  • Change of Mind: Personal preference changes after purchase
  • Completed Campaigns: Transactions from campaigns that have ended

2. Eligible Refund Cases

In our capacity, we may be able to provide refunds in the following situations:

Technical Errors

  • Payment processed but vote/service not delivered
  • Duplicate charges due to system error
  • Platform malfunction resulting in failed transactions
  • Incorrect amount charged due to technical glitch

Campaign Issues

  • Campaign canceled by organizer before completion
  • Fraudulent campaign detected and removed by admin
  • Campaign found to violate our Terms of Service

Payment Processing Errors

  • Failed payment showing as successful
  • Overcharging due to payment gateway error
  • Unauthorized transactions

3. Refund Process

How to Request a Refund

  1. Contact Support:

    • Include your transaction ID and description of issue
    • Provide supporting evidence (screenshots, receipts)
  2. Review Process:

    Our team will review your request within 2-5 business days

  3. Decision:

    You'll receive an email with our decision and next steps

  4. Refund Processing:

    If approved, refunds are processed within 7-14 business days

  • Full name and email address
  • Transaction ID or payment reference
  • Date and amount of transaction
  • Detailed explanation of the issue
  • Supporting documentation (if applicable)

4. Voting Transactions

Standard Policy

Votes are generally non-refundable because:

  • Votes are recorded immediately and affect campaign results
  • SMS notifications are sent instantly
  • Platform and payment processing fees are incurred

Exceptions

We may consider refunds for votes if:

  • Payment succeeded but vote was not recorded
  • Technical error prevented vote submission
  • Campaign was fraudulent or terminated early
  • Unauthorized transaction on your account

5. Donations

Donations are typically non-refundable as they are:

  • Voluntary contributions to campaigns or causes
  • Immediately processed and transferred to campaign creators
  • Subject to third-party payment processing fees

Possible Exceptions

In our capacity, we may provide refunds for donations if:

  • Campaign creator agrees to the refund
  • Campaign was fraudulent or misrepresented
  • Technical error resulted in duplicate donations
  • Unauthorized transaction occurred

6. Event Tickets

Cancellation Policy

Ticket refunds depend on:

  • Event organizer's refund policy
  • Timing of cancellation request
  • Reason for cancellation

Event Cancellation

If an event is canceled or postponed:

  • Full refunds will be provided for canceled events
  • Transfer options may be available for postponed events
  • Refunds processed within 14 business days
